WELLNESS AND PREVENTATIVE MEDICINE CONSULTATIONS

Are you feeling "WELL"?

Perhaps you are feeling great and simply want some assistance to keep feeling that way!

Many times, we do not have an "illness" that can be defined by conventional medicine. Perhaps you simply aren't "feeling good" but you can't describe exactly what that means. Often, we have been to the doctor and had tests done, but because the tests and exams are normal, we have been told that there is "nothing wrong".

Conventional medical testing and methods are predominantly organized around a model of disease occurring at three defined stages:

1) Early disease
2) Established disease
3) End-stage (advanced) disease

Alternately, many systems of medicine have traditionally looked at stages of disease that occur and are recognized as "pre-disease". More simply, there are illnesses that can cause symptoms before our conventional tests are able to identify them.

There are also "illnesses" that may cause disease but are not conventionally recognized in Western medicine approaches.

Our WELLNESS PROGRAM is especially geared to identify and address:

1) NUTRITIONAL DEFICIENCY
2) POOR DIGESTION
3) MALABSORPTION
4) TOXIC COLON
5) LIVER IMPAIRMENT
6) HYPOGLYCEMIA
7) ADRENAL EXHAUSTION
8) YEAST SYNDROME
9) FOOD ALLERGIES
10) CHEMICAL SENSITIVITY
11) ENVIRONMENTAL SENSITIVITY
12) LOW THYROID STATUS
13) INTESTINAL PARASITES

Our approach to WELLNESS is simple. We start with a questionnaire that the client completes. Dr. Miller has designed this questionnaire to be simple to complete on your own.

At your first visit, we will spend 60-90 minutes reviewing the questionnaire, taking additional history, and doing a physical exam. We will plan on providing ample time for you to discuss all your current wellness concerns. We will also review any labs or x-rays that you have available. We may also recommend additional laboratory and/or x-ray tests at this time. This might include conventional tests done in local labs or "specialty" lab tests that will require shipping to special labs around the country.

Approximately 7-10 days later, we will meet again for 30-60 minutes to discuss your personalized "WELLNESS OPTIONS". Our recommendations may include additional lab and diagnostic tests, dietary changes, lifestyle modifications, nutritional and herbal supplements, prescription pharmaceutical agents, mind-body options, exercise programs, and referral to specialists if indicated.

Follow-up visits will be scheduled on an individual basis and tailored to your unique WELLNESS program.
