MEDICINE FOR THE EARTH

 

INDIVIDUAL AND GROUP JOURNEY WORK

 

Learn to experience the shamanic journey with traditional techniques.  I use sound (drums, rattles, chanting, and music) to introduce you to the world of shamanic journeying.  Learn about shamanic cosmology and how to explore the Upper, Middle, and Lower Worlds with these techniques.

 

DRUMMING CIRCLES

 

I lead shamanic drumming circles on a wide variety of issues and topics.  Learn to use the drum to explore non-ordinary reality and seek answers to current issues in your life and the life of your world.

 

  CON CORAZON (“WITH HEART”) DRUMMING TEACHINGS

 

This is a special drumming circle to experientially share a group of “oral teachings” from the Andean tradition.  This is a series of approximately 20 sessions that will include brief oral teachings followed by drumming circles to experience your own personal realization of the teachings.  The end result will include a notebook of concise information that you will be able to explore for many years to come.  Check back soon for the dates for this exciting program.

 

 

ANDEAN MEDICINE WHEEL AND MESA WORK

 

We offer individual and group sessions to learn about the Andean Medicine Wheel.  This work also includes information on how to prepare and work with the energy of your personalized Mesa.  The Mesa is a collection of power objects, wrapped in a textile, that you can carry with you and set up conveniently to do your personal healing and spiritual work in any location to which you travel.  In essence, the Mesa is a portable altar.

 

DESPACHO FIRE CEREMONIES

 

This is a very special “fire” ceremony that is often done to honor the gifts of the Mother Earth (Pachamama).  These fire ceremonies involve creating a very special mandala from different products from the Earth.  The “creations” are then offered in a very special way to the Fire and the Spirits with a sense of reverence and thanksgiving.  This ceremony can be done in a variety of ways and to honor a variety of life situations.

 

 

MANDALA CREATIVITY WORK

 

Utilizing the drum and creativity, we work to develop a personal experience with the mandala.  Mandala is a word derived from Sanskrit which means “circle”.  The work we do in this workshop is done with the intention of sparking our creativity, developing a personal connection to our Creator, and exploring the symbolism of non-ordinary reality.  Everything that the Power does, it does in circles!
