MEDICINE FOR THE EARTH
This is a weekend gathering based on the work of Sandra Ingerman and her book "MEDICINE FOR THE EARTH - HOW TO TRANSFORM PERSONAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL TOXINS". During this weekend gathering, we will work as a community to develop a fuller understanding of our relationship with the Spirits of Nature and our Mother Earth. We will explore the concepts of "ALCHEMY" and "MIRACLES" by working to understand our "true" relationship with the Earth, the Spirits of the Land, the Elements, and the Spirits of Nature.
We will explore and experience the concepts of transmutation and transfiguration through shamanic journeywork, guided imagery, meditation, ritual, and ceremonial work. The key to this gathering is not what "miracles" we can manifest in the environment...what matters is who we become in order to participate in this work.
KEY CONCEPTS FOR THIS "GATHERING"
The weekend gatherings, based on the information in MEDICINE FOR THE EARTH, teach us how to transform personal and environmental pollution by learning how to transmute our negative beliefs, attitudes, and the energy that comes forth from our emotions. The process continues with learning how to work in cooperation with our helping spirits and the spirits of the land as well as getting in touch with our own divine nature to create transmutation.
Our gathering will culminate with a community ceremony to bring in the healing energy to volunteers who will be asking for healing. We will also explore some key elements and spiritual practices which can be incorporated into our lives that are necessary to be able to cleanse ourselves and our environments of toxins.
We will be working with seven fundamental themes in our journey to experience a "miracle". These include:

OUR FACILITATOR: DR. GREGORY MILLER
Dr. Miller is a board-certified osteopathic physician with 20 years experience in the fields of Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Complementary/Integrative Medicine.
Dr. Miller has received extensive training in Natural Medicine, Ayurveda, CranioSacral Therapy, SomatoEmotional Release, Zero Balancing, Visceral Manipulation, Osteopathic Manual Medicine, Reiki, Mind-Body Medicine, and Shamanism.
He is a graduate of the 3-Year Intensive Program in core shamanism with the Foundation For Shamanic Studies. He has also been extensively trained in Andean shamanic techniques and Mesa work.
Dr. Miller has studied extensively with Sandra Ingerman and has completed her teacher training for Medicine For The Earth.
He is currently involved in research and lectures nationally on applications of shamanism within conventional Western health care settings.

Suggested Donation: $150 (please call if you feel the need to attend but feel that you need a scholarship) We need a $50 deposit by Jan 15th to hold your place. A limit has been set on the number of participants for this event.
Meals on Saturday: $13 additional for the day includes lunch and dinner
What to bring: Bring drums and rattles if you have them, a notebook and pens, a blanket to lie on the floor with, drawing supplies and a drawing pad, rain gear, plenty of warm clothing (we may want to spend some time outdoors), a bandana and/or an eye cover. Please bring your own bottled water, snacks, and any other beverages you may require.
On Saturday night, please have a candle that burns inside a container. You may also want to bring personal "power objects" to the ceremony to further empower these items as we do the healing work. Some may want to bring a special change of clothes for the evening ceremony. If you know of anyone who would like to come to the Saturday ceremony to receive healing energy, please contact us.
